When does the relegation party start?

Hello, as you can imagine this blog entry is going to be focused prodominantly on the Saints match, however I can assure you there will be an element of politics entered into this - dont worry!

But firstly I would like to say that I think I have three people who now 'follow' my blog, these people are very valued as they are they only thing that make me look less insane because otherwise I would be writing to myself, so thanks.

Anyway, today was of course the clash of the season for both Saints and he who shall not be named. Despite a dissapointing score which allowed Saints to look like they got trampled on, it was a entertaining game, mostly for the pre and after game experience. The hostility that Southampton fans created for the opposing fans just before the match (by blocking them in, swearing and abusing coaches and chanting) was enough to make it a funny start. I have never been to a derby match so it was very good to get tickets (thanks kath). After the match it was 'marred' by attempted fights between the fans, which basically involved stones being thrown, chairs being thrown and cars being torn apart to create some sort of weapon. Most of the aggression was held back by 'stable' fencing and prodominantly the police with horses and batons, a bad combonation. Anyway i'm not too sure what happened afterwards, undoubtebly there must have been fights somewhere in Southampton but I did hear from Facebook that a Saints fan had been stabbed by another Saints fan.

I have no idea how that happened.

I forgot to include any political ideology. I was going to blame Labour for Saints downfall but that would be a little bit unjust.
